The new minimum version required will be Android 5.0.

Android: The Roblox application supports Android 5.0 Lollipop and later. Apple iOS: iPad Air, iPhone 5s or later, iPod touch (6th Generation), iOS 9 or later. Storage: Recommended at least 1GB of system storage space.Īccording to a help article, these are the minimum device and operating system requirements to play Roblox on mobile devices. RAM or Memory: Recommended at least 1 GB of memory on Windows 7, 8, or Windows 10. There have been some issues with older AMD processors. Processor: Recommended any recent processor (2005+) with a clock speed of 1.6 Ghz or better. 
For best performance, it's recommended either a computer less than 18 years old with dedicated video card, or a laptop less than 16 years old with an integrated video card.
Graphics Card: On Windows, Roblox requires DirectX 10 or higher feature level support. Must enable Google Play Store on your device. Chrome OS: Chrome OS version 53 or higher. Linux: Roblox doesn't support Linux, though can be played using workarounds, check the Roblox on Linux page for more information. For Roblox Studio OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) and above is required. MacOS: OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) or higher. For Windows 8/8.1 you will need to run Roblox in Desktop Mode, as Metro Mode (the tiled start-screen) is not currently supported. According to a help article, these are the required system hardware and software specifications for PC/Laptop devices running Roblox.
